Production Assistant

We are currently seeking qualified candidates for Production Assistant. We hire from within for our apprenticeships and other training positions leading to eventual journeyman status. 

JOB SUMMARY

Provide production support and assistance as required.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Operate fork trucks and other powered vehicles within the plant; material movement
  • Operates other plant equipment necessary for the efficient operation of the department with regard to material handling, housekeeping, maintenance and assisting in the operation
  • Perform AM duties as per matrix
  • Inventory scrap panels at end of shift

  • Panel Weld Destruct
  • Blank load
  • End of line racking
  • Part runs
  • Part stacking
  • Record lift tag numbers
  • Enter data in Birdseye software program

Our world class climate controlled facility is centrally located just north of downtown Grand Rapids. Autodie is a company with more than 50 years of experience in fulfilling customer needs and offering local expertise for project management, engineering, machining, die construction & tryout, engineering change incorporation, buy-off and launch support.

We are currently seeking qualified candidates to fill the position of Plant Helper. Plant Helpers perform a variety of tasks throughout the plant. They are responsible for operating the equipment necessary for efficient operation with regard to material handling, housekeeping, maintenance, etc. May be working with cranes, fork lifts, cherry pickers, scissors lifts, hydraulic jacks, drill presses, mills, grinders, breaks, shears, plasma cutters, saws, power washer, and a variety of hand and power hand tools.

We hire from within and the Plant Helper position often leads to apprenticeships and other training positions leading to eventual journeyman status.

Previous industrial experience helpful. MUST BE SHIFT FLEXIBLE AND WILLING TO WORK UP TO 55 HOURS.

$15.00 per hour to start (shift premium if transferred to 2nd shift)

Receptionist / Administrative Assistant

Job Description

Autodie LLC is seeking a full time Receptionist / Administrative Assistant. This role will serve as our Director of First Impressions and is a critical part of the team.

Job Summary

The ideal candidate is positive, outgoing, a strong communicator, detail oriented, tech savvy and will handle the flow of people and ensure that all responsibilities are completed accurately and delivered with high quality and in a timely and efficient manner.

Responsibilities and Duties

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Answer, screen and forward any incoming phone calls while providing basic information when needed
  • Serve customers, guests and visitors by greeting, reviewing safety guidelines, directing and announcing them appropriately
  • Receiving and sorting daily mail and deliveries
  • Provide administrative support to leadership
  • Maintain appearance of reception and common areas of office
  • Act as coordinator for the conference rooms
  • Coordinate domestic and international travel for business and field service travelers
  • Assist with internal and external communications such as newsletters and presentations
  • Lead the planning and coordination of corporate events
  • Some accounts payable duties
  • Track correspondence for required signatures
  • Manage ad hoc projects and business-as-usual projects such as filing, copying, scanning, faxing, researching printer problems, organizing logistics, and coordinating guest and company lunches.
